Event Photography

Whatever the event, it’s always great to have these shared memories captured. From childrens’ birthday parties, christenings, naming ceremonies and engagement parties. Sporting events, family gatherings, Christmas parties to remembrance ceremonies: the list is endless.

We don’t limit the amount of photos you’ll receive, we pass on as many as processed. There’s no additional costs to receive your photos. Just one fee based on how many hours coverage you require, for as many great moments captured as possible, all digitally delivered.

Your photos will also be uploaded to a private online gallery for you to view, share and download. A selection of photo gifts are also available direct from your online gallery, more information can be found here.

Price

Event coverage is charged differently as a lot more photos are taken and processed for an event shoot compared to a portrait shoot. I can cover your event for only £120 per hour for a single photographer, or £155 for two photographers, with a minimum of two hours coverage. Charging per hour for events means that you only pay for the time you need us there, to help capture the memories. For larger events with guests/ attendees over 70 people it's definitely worth the option of two photographers for full coverage.
How do we book event coverage?
Get in touch via our contact form to enquire about our availability.

Send us your full name, address, a contact phone number, event address and event details, we'll then send you an electronic booking quotation document to sign with the details of your booking and how to pay the coverage fee. Coverage fees are paid in full at time of booking.

Unfortunately we're unable to hold any session dates until I have received your coverage fee.
Do you cover my area?
We are based in Wolverhampton in the Midlands, and for portrait shoots cover an area within an approximate 25 mile radius of WV1, which is the majority of the Midlands.
How do we receive our photos?
Your photos will also be uploaded to a private online gallery for you to view, share and download.

A selection of photo gifts and prints are also available direct from your online gallery.

You gallery will also let family and friends download images free of charge.
How long does it take before we receive our photos?
For event coverage it usually takes around 4-5 weeks before Phil is able to send you all your finished photos.

The time needed often depends on when we book your session. The summer is our busiest period, so Phil's editing schedule tends to be on the heavier side. It means sessions sometimes take slightly longer during that time of year.

We always endeavour to send a sneak peek not too long after the session itself, just as a small preview of whats to come.
How many photos can we expect to receive?
On average you should receive around 40-50 per hour of your coverage, but depending on your event it can occasionally be even more. There’s no additional costs or charges to receive your photos, we don't hold clients to ransom by showing you additional photos from your shoot, and then expect you to pay more to receive them all.

Just one rate for as many great moments captured as possible, all digitally delivered.
We may want order our photo products, do we need to pay for those at the time of booking?
No, you don't. We don't like 'hard sales' so we'll leave it up to you if you'd like to take advantage of the photo products we offer. You can order prints, photo products and photo books directly via your online gallery. All products we offer can be ordered at any point before your online gallery expires. Take a look at our photo products page.
What is your 'license of use' and do we own the copyright?
Every shoot comes with an implicit 'licence of use' that lets you print your images, give copies to family and friends, and share online; all for non-profit purposes.

If any of your wedding suppliers get in touch requesting the use of some of your photos for self promotion, send them our way and we're always happy to help them out.

Philip Dignum Photography retains the copyright to all photo, that simply means that your licence does not include permission to sell, modify or enter the photos into any competitions.
